If you’ve been to COPIA (www.copia.org), and you were not impressed at their wine museum, you need to go to the “Real” Napa Valley Museum located in Yountville at the Veterans Home. Head west on California Drive and it is on the right at the top.
 
There are two permanent exhibits:
Land and People of Napa Valley
California Wine: The science of an art

 
Hours: Wednesday through Monday 10am-5pm
Adults $4.50
Students and Seniors $3.50
Children 7-17 $2.50

This wine tasting lounge is not quite like all the others. After purchasing a distribution card you help yourself to electronic pourer’s.

The wines are housed in a special containment system so that they won’t spoil, this allows the owners to offer tastings of expensive wines not usually offered for tastings. There are 32 small producer wines, and they also offer some snack trays. The lounge is Wi-Fi enabled. My only disappointment is the quantity for each tasting. At only one ounce per pour, …
