Winery Cave Dinners

Butterfly Winery Catering will cater your event and will help you book a site as well. They will adjust the menu to suit. Contact Andrew Kiken at (707) 942-6800

Ladera Winery – does not offer dinners open to the public, but if you are a member of their Premiere Crew Wine Club, you can have a private dinner hosted in the caves. The owners join you in dinner and you must use one of their caterers. There is no site fee, but again you must be a wine club member. Typically around $200 per person.

caveRutherford Hill – Provides full event management. They handle every detail from flowers, to music, tables and chairs to catering. They also quote you per person that is all inclusive (event, tax, tip, etc). They do have a 25 person minimum fee, and per person prices range from $175 to $210 depending on your menu. Benziger Family Winery – Huge caves (27,000 sq ft, with 1,600 sq ft of banquet space), ultimate luxury setup, for up to 100 guests. They also provide services out on their terrace. Fees are $70 per guest, plus catering fees, with a 20 person minimum. Events must conclude by 10pm. They also offer many other group events besides just dinner service. Staglin Family Vineyard – Asks that you donate $500 to the Music Festival for Mental health. In addition there is a $200 site service fee. You must purchase 4 cases of wine, although you don’t have to drink it all at the event. Staglin will handle all aspects of the event, but will pass fees on to you as they occur. You have a host from Staglin present at the event, which is part of your final head count. Contact Colin Casper at (707) 944-0477

Frazier Winery – Has different cave rooms depending on the size of your party. The have a minimum of $1500 for groups under 18 people, but includes space, tables, chairs, 3/4 bottle of wine per person, welcome speech/tour of caves, and a staff member. Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars – Your event starts with a reception with passed hors d’ oeuvres and then is followed with a three (or four) course gourmet dinner in the candle lit winery cave. All inclusive top of the line event for $250 per person and 20% service charge plus tax. Contact Karla Jensen at (707) 261-6495

Pine Ridge Winery - Four dinner packages to choose from, they start with a reception with hors d’ oevres, followed by a tour and then dinner in the caves. Accommodations for 30-140 guests, prices range from $165 to $265 per person, plus a $1500 site fee, plus tax. A beautiful and extraordinary event. Contact Katherine Lautenbach at (707) 257-4719

Rombauer Vineyards - Has caves, but does not offer private cave dinners.

Chateau Boswell Winery – Has caves, but does not offer private cave dinners.

Del Dotto Winery – Has caves, but does not offer private cave dinners.
