Napa Restaurant Corkage Fee

Most restaurants charge, but here are a few exceptions.
 

The corkage fee is a convenience fee charged by restaurants for wines from outside their cellars. They are missing out on a big source of revenue when you bring your own wine.
 

– Bring unusual wines.
– Bring wines aged in your cellar.
– Bring wines that are available only at the winery.
– Bring wines that are at least as much as their least expensive bottle.
– It is customary to offer the waiter and the sommelier a taste.
